Montlake Rowing Club
Montlake Rowing Club was formed in 2007 from the merger of Seattle Yacht Club Rowing and Interlochen Rowing Club. We are committed to the growth of the sport of rowing and recognized for fun and the good sportsmanship of our members. Practices are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:30 am (at 6:45 am during summer months) at Pocock Rowing Center (PRC) in Seattle Our private fleet of boats (eight, four, quad and doubles) is for exclusive use by MRC team members. The club provides training and coaching in both sweep rowing and sculling. We hire our experienced coaches from the ranks of the PRC coaching staff. All of the women in the Montlake Rowing Club have dual membership in MRC and Pocock Rowing Center (PRC). This dual membership comes with the privileges that both clubs offer, including use of PRC training and racing shells, locker room and fitness center as well as access to group and private lessons provided by PRC. |
